Client: Oceania Healthcare

Construction: Generation Homes

Works Completed: Full utilities installation of power, water, fibre, and nurse call

Duration: 12 months

The Brief

Stage One of the Franklin Retirement Village development by Oceania Healthcare required safe, reliable utility connections for 33 new homes and a workshop. With multiple trades onsite and tight sequencing requirements, our role was to deliver full utility installations that met both compliance standards and the long-term needs of future residents — without causing bottlenecks in the build programme.

Our Solution

Working in partnership with Generation Homes, we:

  • Installed single-phase power, water, nurse call, and Chorus connections from pre-installed power pits to each unit.

  • Completed full external - internal mains installations across all 33 units.

  • Undertook core drilling for precise service entry points.

  • Coordinated closely with other trades to ensure smooth delivery and zero delays.

This project highlights the importance of precise utility installation at scale. All 33 homes and the workshop were completed to full specification, with residents gaining safe, reliable, and future-ready connections for power, water, and communications. By combining technical accuracy with strong collaboration alongside Generation Homes, Stage One was delivered seamlessly and without disruption.
