Install three phase underground power supply to a new shed and caravan site as well as provisions for a future new house build at a rural property located 0.5km back from the roadside. The project timeline required installation to take place during the wet winter season where much of the low-lying land had flooded.
Our team first undertook a thorough inspection of the property to check the soil conditions and uncover all challenges before establishing the most efficient and cost-effective solution for this long-run installation. Taking care of all communication and scheduling with the power network provider, we began by testing the existing metered power supply at the roadside pole and tidying the connections in the existing meter box which were unsafe in their current state.
Installing the most direct underground line meant undertaking two creek crossings and excavation through an old rubbish tip which we were able to successfully complete and ensure safe and secure installation compliant with regulation requirements. Through these methods, we were able to provide a significant cost saving to the client.
